Intelligent, articulate, professional who has spent many years living abroad and has a good appreciation of what we have and what we lack. I make pleasant, well-groomed appearance and while far from perfect, I am pleased with the person I've become. Open-minded and non-judgmental, I don't seek a specific type of woman in terms of appearance, body type, race, etc. Rather, I'm looking for who is attractive inside and out and exhibits compassion, self-confidence, intelligence, good humor and who can both give and receive love, affection, and consideration. I relate strongly to my Jewish heritage, but am non-religious. Though neither a Republican nor Democrat, I am very progressive politically and thus have a much harder time relating to conservatives. If you're a Bush/Palin/Perry fan I suspect we're not a match. I may be the funniest person you'll meet, and as honest as consideration for the feelings of others will allow.

I try to take advantage of Austin's performance scene: I'm a member of the Paramount Theatre and yearly see a number of shows there, as well as at the Long Center, One World Theatre, and Zach Scott. I don't watch much sports anymore, though I try to catch the Longhorn games whenever possible.

I currently live in an apartment in NW Austin, having downsized from my home after my younger daughter left home.
